About Avelines
Meaningful support begins with trust.
Not with a checklist, but with attention to the people, the household and the way a professional becomes part of its rhythm.
The vision behind Avelines
Rooted in personal experience. Built with professional care.
My name is Adeline van Son, and I am the founder of Avelines. From my own experience, I understand just how personal it is to find someone you can truly trust in your home. After all, you are not simply hiring someone to carry out a role; you are welcoming them into your private world.
At home, I’m married, have two grown-up sons, and we share our family life with a one-and-a-half-year-old Pomeranian. Small in size but full of character, our dog certainly has a mind of their own. Family life reminds me every day that each person has their own character, routines and need for space.
I carry that understanding into my work. The right support should fit naturally into a household, while respecting the people, habits and privacy that make each home unique.
That’s why I look beyond a CV. Experience matters, of course, but so do character, discretion, independence, values and, just as importantly, the personal connection. The right professional notices what needs doing, respects boundaries and brings calm to a home without ever becoming intrusive.
I built Avelines around that belief: carefully selected professionals, clearly defined roles and personal guidance from the first conversation through to a lasting working relationship.

Strategic Director
“Your Home, Our Care means that thoughtfulness is equally visible in what is not taken on without clear agreement.”
Our foundation
Four principles that underpin every match.
These principles apply to clients and professionals alike and form the basis of every working relationship.
Discretion
Privacy is never assumed. It is discussed explicitly and documented with care.
Clarity
Duties, boundaries, responsibilities and communication are made clear from the outset.
Care
Experience, references, conduct and expectations are assessed personally.
Mutual respect
A lasting placement depends on trust and fair agreements on both sides.
Selection standard
What we establish before making an introduction.
A suitable CV is only the beginning. The professional must also fit the role, the household dynamic and the level of independence required.
Experience and professional capability
Does the professional’s background demonstrably match the role and expected standard?
References and certificate of conduct
Available references and appropriate background checks form part of the process.
Conduct and communication
How does the professional listen, anticipate and communicate within a private household?
Understanding of the role
Does the professional understand both the responsibilities and the boundaries of the role?
Personal compatibility
Do rhythm, standards, expectations and working style align with the household?
Continuity
Are availability, travel time and intended duration realistic for both parties?
